Lions 8 - Mind Body Spirit Festival, Olympia, London It all began on Thursday with setting up the Lions 8 stand

The intention was simple: to create a little sanctuary.

Getting everything ready for Day 1 was exciting, but I quickly realised just how much goes into solo stall-holding. As I began to unpack and lay everything out, the stand slowly took shape. Not just as a display, but as an experience. The space was designed with intention.

Delicate, sweet-scented flowers were arranged in small Victorian glass bottles, chosen for their timeless charm and quiet elegance. A golden Buddha anchored the space with a peaceful gaze, while a vase of fresh blooms stood proudly at the centre — the Lions 8 stand was alive with colour and heartfelt intention.

Every detail was chosen to spark curiosity, to gently draw people in — not through noise or spectacle, but through presence. It wasn’t about selling something. It was about creating a space where people could pause. Breathe. Connect. Return, even briefly, to the love and peace within.

The scent of pink roses, soft peonies, lilac stocks, white roses, and fresh eucalyptus wrapped the air in a soft floral hug. This wasn’t about aesthetics alone. It was about creating a space that invited stillness, sparked curiosity, and reminded people of beauty, both around them and within.

A little corner of luxury, love, and deep connection — every detail placed with care, every choice made with purpose.

Before the doors even opened on Friday, I stood quietly inside the space, silent and grounded. I breathed deeply, anchoring into the present moment, and whispered a simple intention: Let this be a place of peace. Not performance. Not perfection. Just peace. The kind that quiets the noise and brings people gently back to themselves. And the intention held.

It rippled out into the crowd, through the flow of footsteps and frequency, through the overstimulation and sound. Time and time again, people found their way to this little sanctuary.  A small intentional space gently vibrating at a beautiful, calm, and grounded frequency amidst the electric chaos. A breath of stillness and connection — a space to catch your breath, connect to a crystal, or pull a heartfelt message. A place that held space, offered a hug for those who needed it, and welcomed enriched conversations. It felt like magic, but it isn’t magic. Its presence. It’s the power of stepping into your truth and allowing heartfelt conversations to unfold.

As an empath and highly sensitive person, being directly opposite the All You Need Is Love stage had its absolute pluses (+) and definite minuses (–). The energy was high, the vibe vibrant, and the music uplifting for many, but the constant volume and heightened energy could be overwhelming. Holding space for others while managing that intensity required deep grounding and intentional energy protection — something I regularly share in the Lions 8 Online Monthly Moon Meditations.

And yet, within the buzz and overstimulation, something powerful happened: genuine connection. Deep, thoughtful exchanges reminded me why I do this work. People are searching for resources, for calm, for something real.

Lions 8 exists to help people reconnect with themselves, with curiosity, and return to the love within. It’s about finding pockets of peace in the middle of very loud, very busy lives. This festival was heartfelt, fun, sometimes challenging, and reaffirmed exactly why the work at Lions 8 really matters.

Lions 8 was born to be a kind of spiritual distributor — a bridge between the classic and the contemporary. Like Claude Monet meeting Banksy. It’s about honouring timeless wisdom while embracing fresh perspectives. A space that feels both familiar and surprising. Gentle and energising.

As I pack up and reflect, I’m knackered. But I’m also so proud of what Lions 8 became over these five days - the connections made, the intentional messages that resonated, the beautiful crystals chosen, and the moments shared.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, shared a smile or a story. You all made a difference, and I thank you for showing up and being curious.

Here’s to more grounded, intentional connection — and remembering to refill our own cups first.
